The non-denominational Wasatch Master Chorale was formed in the fall of 2004. Our goal is to sing beautiful music well. Join us as we sing in the spring and winter seasons.
History
The Wasatch Master Chorale was formed in the fall of 2004 after the Ogden Community Chorus was disbanded after the retirement of Evelyn Harris. At that time, a new group was formed by Dennis Ahern, Steve and Karen Miller, and Geraldine Christensen using a nucleus of members of the Ogden Community Chorus. Their goal was to sing beautiful music well and they have continued to pursue that goal ever since. The Wasatch Master Chorale is comprised of members from all over the Wasatch Front. While much of the music they sing is drawn from sacred literature, their members are from many different spiritual traditions and the group is truly non-denominational.
